HQ COVID-19 Safety Procedures
I hope you have been well during this turbulent time. Per Governor Cooper’s order all HQ spaces will continue to be closed and only available for suite tenants and for mail pick up until Phase 1 of the State’s three part order begins.
During Phase 1, HQ will be permitted to open and we will welcome all our members into our spaces on Monday, May 11th. It is our goal to make HQ a safe work environment. Upon opening on May 11th, you will notice changes in building access, social distancing practices, and heightened cleaning and sanitation practices.
The areas that have been improved are:
- Space Set Up
Space Set Up
All properties have been arranged to ensure 6 foot practices are upheld while working together in the space. Because of this, we have decreased the number of seats in communal areas, meeting and huddle rooms.
We are still offering all our regular amenities such as printing, coffee, beer, and meeting room space. However, we have made changes to how these amenities are offered. We will be using one-time compostable ware rather than multiuse drinkware and silverware. We are also asking that you bring in your own reusable water bottles and mugs to be hand washed in our space. All amenity spaces will have sanitizer and cleaning supplies by them so members can wipe down surfaces before and after use.
We have heightened our focus on cleaning by implementing the following measures:
- Deep cleaning: During the past month our spaces have been deep cleaned and sanitized.
- Additional cleaning: in addition to the HQ staff being present during business hours, we’ve increased the frequency of cleaning during day time hours. Our contracted cleaning service will focus on high touch areas such as doors handles, bathrooms, work surfaces, and appliances.
- Sanitation Stations: We have added sanitation stations throughout the work spaces and meeting room. These include antibacterial wipes, bleach spray, simple green spray, paper towels, gloves, and hand sanitizer.
While we want to make our spaces as safe as possible, we must roll out our changes in phases. We plan to implement Phase 2 in a timely fashion as mandated and seen necessary to keep out members and staff safe.
