We did it, we threw the block party of the year! Okay, so maybe it wasn’t the biggest block party ever but we could not be happier with how our first HQ Block Party turned out! Over 500 members of our local Raleigh community and Offline Premium Members joined us for food trucks, live music, shopping, HQ@Gateway tours, and more! We could not ask for a better community to be a part of. For those who missed out, here are a few highlights!
Live music from Autumn Nichols
Simply put, Autumn is ridiculously talented. She is a local artist, so naturally we were beyond excited to learn more about her. We’ll just say she brought the party to the party. Autumn’s voice wowed the crowd from the very first step in the parking lot and keep us jamming all day long. We can not thank her enough for coming to hang out with us. If you were not able to catch her performance you can learn more about her here!
Food Truck Rodeo
In addition to the awesome music, the parking lot was lined by some of our favorite local food trucks. From one corner to the next, attendees had their choice of tasty treats from Baton Rouge, Cusine Baozi, Arepa, Mr. Wingz & Mrs. Thingz and Sweet Treats NC. Needless to say, we were served with smiling faces and left with extra full bellies.
Pop Up Market
The fun didn’t stop in the parking lot. Inside our new space HQ@Gateway, a variety of local vendors set up shop to share their passions and businesses. This market had everything from designs and doodles by YourDailyBred and Sloane Signature Gifts, fresh ground coffee beans from Larry’s Coffee and popsicles from Solo Fruit Pops.
Fueled by Big Boss Brewing
Is it even a party without a good beer? I guess we may never find out. This time around we branched out from our usual favorite brewers Lonerider and Trophy to check out someone new. Our friends at Big Boss Brewing definitely did not disappoint.
With beautiful Autumn weather, we were able to entertain children of all ages (and many adults) with bouncy houses, face painting by the immensely talented Free Spirited Artistry, pumpkin decorating and entertainment by the YMCA Triangle!
Without a doubt we can say HQ@Gateway already feels like home! We gave tours every 15 minutes sharing the special details and opportunities the space has for local entrepreneurs. With the space almost to full completion we already have an abundance of teams moving into the space following the big event. Many of our neighbors are also entering the home stretch of construction and will soon be open for business. If you are in the area, check out our neighbors who are already open: Union Special, Gateway Restaurant, Craft Habit Raleigh, and Mordecai Beverage Company.
We are excited to see what the future holds for our newest space and we also can not thank our partners/ supporters enough for the love they have shown us through the growth of HQ Raleigh.
So, if you weren’t able to make it out to our Block Party and Grand Opening but would still like to learn more about this space you can reach out to email@example.com to schedule a tour. Or feel free to stop by during the day to experience our culture for yourself! Want to know more about pricing and availability of our close knit raleigh office space? Check it out here!
