This fall the HQ Raleigh Community has welcomed 8 startup teams to our warehouse location through the RioT Accelerator Program (RAP) Fall 2019 Cohort. The dynamic accelerator is IoT focused and led by R!oT, one of the top IoT organizations in North Carolina and across the country. In the entrepreneurial spirit the Fall RAP Cohort teams are looking to make an impact by accomplishing various tasks from taking down pesky backyard pests to better protecting newborns in the NICU. We will be learning more about their progress at our October Community Lunch on Friday, October 18th, 2019 from 12-1pm. At the lunch the teams that will be presenting are Green Pro Partners, Kilo Medical Solutions, Next Systems, and Continuous Precision Medicine.

What is RAP?

The program is a 12-week high-touch accelerator that provides an abundance of resources that the average accelerator does not provide. In the end the goal is to welcome startups into a network with an industry consortium of more than 75 companies across the IoT technology world. In the program the groups work together to learn, partner, and more quickly bring their product to market and scale.

RAP + HQ Raleigh

Not only is it exciting to have the 8 teams in our space, but our community is able to learn from the progress happening every week. Since the RAP participants are HQ members they also have the ability to take advantage of additional member resources that can further grow their network and reach beyond the IoT industry. Our free office hours and panel discussions can also connect them to industry professionals in legal, accounting, fundraising, and more.
